The Show

An American In Paris is a musical inspired by the 1951 film by the same name and tells the story of an American GI, Jerry Mulligan, who strives to make it as an artist and is swept up in a breathless romance with local dancer, Lise.

The musical was written by Craig Lucas, with music by George Gershwin and lyrics by Ira Gershwin.  Following a successful run in the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, it opened in Broadway’s Palace Theatre in April 2015.  An American In Paris will open in the West End’s Dominion Theatre in March 2017.
