Hamilton is musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda telling the story of the life of American Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton. Miranda got inspiration for his musical from historian Ron Chernow’s 2004 biography entitled ‘Alexander Hamilton’.
The musical debuted in the Off-Broadway venue, The Public Theatre, in February 2015, before transferring to Broadway’s Richard Rogers Theatre in August of the same year. The award winning and critically acclaimed show transferred to the West End’s newly refurbished Victoria Palace Theatre and opened in December 2017.

Hamilton is currently booking at the Victoria Palace Theatre until April 2020. The Victoria Palace Theatre opened on 9th November 1911. It has since played host to musicals, plays, variety shows, revues and comedies. The theatre is now owned by Delfont Mackintosh Theatres.
The official partner of Hamilton is Ticketmaster. It has been announced that the anti-touting ticketing system which has been in place since the show’s opening, will be discontinued and tickets will be available through other ticket companies.
